Private Lesson ( All Ages and Skill Levels )
The Private Lesson Course is an individualized approach through all stages of making a successful work of art. The aim of this class is to give very direct and personalized instruction for the student - focusing on the students' growth, ideas and creative understanding of the work.
The instructors will assist the student to develop cohesive ideas while teaching technical application of: graphite pencil, soft/oil pastel, colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paint for the more advanced students. We will discuss why it is important to have a narrative(story) behind the work and explore different ways to approach building that narrative. Students will be encouraged to create/find meaning in their work while attempting to understand the meaning of related works.
This class welcomes students of all ages and expertise. Max 3 students per class. We will be working with various styles including: Contemporary, Impressionism, Expressionism, Art Neveau, Realism and Abstract Art. Each student will get personalized attention from instructors in an effort to create meaningful and beautiful works of art.

Goals:
- This course will give the student an understanding of how to correctly plan and start a work of art. Their knowledge of material will expand as they progress through the program. Students confidence in starting and finishing an artwork will grow as they become more comfortable with the materials.
